Chapter #2

The Sports Club is what I look at when waiting for Skytrain to go to the University.

GreenSpaces In Bangkok

The Royal Bangkok Sports Club--125 acres. A nine hole golf course, small stadium, running track.  The buildings in distance is Siam square the center of hyper-capitalism

Lumphini Park

250 Acres-separated from the Private Sports Club by a few blocks. The park is about a 20 minute walk from my apartment.  The campus another 200 acres. All in all, about 600 acres in central City is pretty big green. well or at least open and quieter space. Remember there are an estimated 14 million living in the greater Bangkok area

That’s me in the Background.  Ok, well not yet. Although I do have gym in my apartment

Then there are these tiny greenspaces with shrines.  They just show up kind of like Shinto Shrines in Japan

In the Park: Well its better than Nutria

Hidden from the view of golfers is waste treatment plant.  Pools of brown sludge. Visible at the skytrain stop.  People stare at it and the golf course as they talk on the mobile phones.
